American re-imagining of the 2010 Mexican horror film of the same name. The reclusive Parker family headed by ailing patriarch Frank (Bill Sage) have a dark and macabre family secret. While grieving for their mother, Iris (Ambyr Childers) and Rose (Julia Garner) are left to care for their father and younger brother Rory (Jack Gore) as well as take responsibility for attending to their horrific familial custom. As a storm hits the small town where the family live, a number of gruesome discoveries by the local authorities lead them to the door of the Parkers and ever closer to the ancestral secret they work so hard to maintain.

Triple bill of crime dramas. In 'Bad Karma' (2012), starring Ray Liotta and Dominic Purcell, a criminal's attempts to go straight are sabotaged by his former partner. In 'The Entitled' (2011) social misfit Paul (Kevin Zegers) is driven to desperate measures when he is turned down for yet another job and his ill mother is given a foreclosure notice on the family home. He enlists the help of two friends to abduct three kids from rich families and hold them ransom for a million dollars each, but the plan goes badly wrong and they soon find themselves in way over their heads. 'Officer Down' (2012) follows Detective David Callahan (Stephen Dorff), known as 'Cal' on the force, who has had a mixed career as a police officer, struggling with drink problems and straying to the wrong side of the law himself at times. When he finds himself caught up in a murder investigation, Cal must attempt to overcome the demons from his own past as well as the challenges of the case.

Noir thriller directed by Jim Mickle and starring Michael C. Hall and Sam Shepard. Texan small-business owner Richard Dane (Hall) has been hailed as the town hero since he protected his wife (Vinessa Shaw) and child by fatally shooting a would-be burglar inside their home. Residual guilt from the encounter is quickly dissipated by the police who assure Richard that he was acting in self-defence and therefore cannot be held accountable for the murder. However, when the burglar's recently-paroled father, Ben (Shepard), arrives in town and begins making explicit threats towards Richard and his family, Richard is forced to step up once again to protect them from harm...
